The icon gallery has a long history: in 1977 Ingrid Zoetmulder opened her icon gallery in Leiden. She moved it shortly thereafter to Delft, where she stayed until 2010. The business has been located in Amsterdam for several years.

Ingrid Zoetmulder has handled thousands of icons, studying and cataloguing them, in the 40 years of running the gallery. As director of Zoetmulder Ikonen, she organizes many icon exhibitions in the Netherlands and abroad. She has sold many beautiful icons to collectors and lovers of icons, to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
